Mental health support services
Enable was set up in 2008 by Debbie Boyes. Debbie is a Mental Health Nurse with more than 25 years’ experience in working with people with a range of mental health problems. In her NHS career, Debbie worked as a Specialist Nurse in Mental Health and developed and managed various teams including Assertive Outreach, Early Intervention in Psychosis and Home Treatment.
Sue Marshall also has many years’ experience working with people with serious mental health needs and brings her carer experience to her role – Head of Support Services.
Kyleigh Elliot is our Senior Service Manager – running our housing services and ensuring that people living there always receive the highest quality support. Kyleigh has manay years experience in supporting people with mental health needs and learning disabilities and in managing housing and community based services.
Debbie, Sue, and Kyleigh are passionate about the rights of people with mental health needs to access high quality support and care; the service was set up to achieve this.
Our knowledge, experience and commitment enable us to provide specialised support to people with the most complex mental health needs within the Recovery model. We train and support our staff to build effective relationships with our clients, aimed at engaging, supporting and enabling them.
